SKEOULOID is a voicebank developed by skeou for the UTAU program, developed by Ameya/Ayame. Since being introduced on February 5, 2022, SKEOULOID has received periodic updates and has been used by various creators involved in the advancement of digital music and singing synthesis technology.

SKEOULOID’s armature comes from a prototype of an android designed to aid local fire stations during emergency procedures as a sort of “portable fire hydrant." The prototype was quickly scrapped, but was taken up by an unknown label to serve as the exoskeleton of an idol revived as a cyborg.However, upon completion of the project, it seemed as if the qualities of the reserved, affable idol had been dichotomized into two halves: an irascible human side and a spasmodic android side. To the label’s dismay, the peeved and sometimes violent human side was the most prominent, with the android side only appearing in frenzied episodes of bubbliness at random intervals. The subject's sporadic mannerisms were deemed unfit for an idol re-debut by the label, and so the subject was permitted to live a mundane yet peculiar life away from the public eye.

SKEOULOID appears apathetic or disgruntled by their daily life and interactions, but they are consistent with hobbies such as weight training. SKEOULOID also sings but has maintained to their acquaintances that they strongly dislike singing. They are prone to extreme emotions and will often overreact or underreact to situations. When stressed, the outlet on SKEOULOID's back may pop open and release a high-pressure stream of water. They are also prone to falling over due to the weight of their hydrant outlet cap.SKEOULOID's personality has no canonical portrayals and is up to interpretation by the user, as long as the portrayal(s) are in accordance to the Usage Content clauses in the Terms of Use.
